The Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) arm of XLRI offers a portfolio of 12 months consolidated course in ‘Senior Leadership’. The course aims to provide an opportunity to study and earn a Postgraduate Certificate in Senior Leadership (PGCSL) while working. The course is being offered by XLRI in collaboration with its technical partners of virtual classroom.

How you are taught? (Teaching Methodology)

Mode of delivery:

  • The programme to be delivered will be a blend of in-campus personal classes, workshops, roleplays, simulations in serene XLRI campus and LIVE virtual interactive classes delivered at a state of the art Times center in participant’s city.
  • One Campus Immersion- 5 days of intensive learning at XLRI campus, Jamshedpur.

Programme Structure:

  • The programme is structured into 4 modules of 3 months each. First campus visit will be at the end of module 1.
  • The programme is structured to customized in order to address individual challenges and opportunities. This will be managed primarily through periodic self-assessments and faculty guided project components.
  • The pedagogy would involve cases, interactive discussions, group activities and simulations.

Evaluation:

  • Each module will have an evaluation component designed by the respective faculty. The mode of evaluation may contain case analysis, quizzes, class participation, individual or group projects.

  • Graduation from a recognized university
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience after completing graduation.
  • Basic knowledge of computer.

Project: Individual project will involve identification of leadership challenges and opportunities within the participant’s organization. The issues will be fine-tuned through a series of interactions with programme faculty / Coaching/ workshops during campus component.
